Chile 2007
“I spent about two weeks in Chile in the late spring (or, in South American terms, early winter) of 2007. ” (One of Rob M's photo albums)
This was on one of my hikes in the north. It starts in a spot called Guatin, and heads up this gorge to hot springs called Termas de Puritama. Pretty cool. The light patch in the gorge is from all these tall grasses with white tufts. They grow at the edge of the warm spring water that comes down the mountain. The spring is so small, you can't see it at all from this distance, but you can see the effect it has on the surroundings.
