Fresh tracks would be recommended to anyone, when there is a fresh dumping up at Whistler. Even when there is no fresh snow it is a good start to the day. Fresh tracks is a program where they load the first 650 people to the top at like 7:15 in the morning for a buffet breakfast, and when the avalanche check has been done and they have done some blasting they allow everyone to get on the mountain early. It is a really good start to the day, and allows you the longest period possible on the mountain. If you are lucky enough to get a clear day it is amazing to watch the sun come up over the mountain... and flow onto the village and valley bellow. And if there was a fresh dumping of snow and your willing to venture in to the trees for it, or even to trek a little bit you can get fresh lines all day long. Bin good up here at Whistler with fresh snow for the last couple of days. Hope to get some more dumpings as I have the next like 5 days off to go boarding during the day. And if the powder isn't present.. you can get an early start on the park when there are no line ups, and no one to watch the big bails.. like a couple I had this morning. Think im gonna be hobbling in to work to tell the manager there isnt much I am going to be able to do tonight :)
