With two small kids my time for outdoor adventure has diminished. However I'm now trying to find activities that will suit my new lifestyle. This blog will follow my outdoor pursuits in general and this year will focus a lot on my experimentation with sailing.
Swimming and walking the beach near Port Franks
zoomWe were lucky enough to be invited to a beautiful beach house near Port Franks on Lake Huron. Port Franks is about 30 minutes south-west of Grand Bend and probably 30-45 north-east of Sarnia.
Before we started going to Port Franks each year (about four years ago) I never knew that huge sand dunes with long, beautiful beaches were part of the Ontario landscape.
Not only are the beaches beautiful but the water is clear and warm.
We had a great time playing football on the beach, swimming in the water and watching Jack have fun playing in the sand.
