Captain's Log
With two small kids my time for outdoor adventure has diminished. However I'm now trying to find activities that will suit my new lifestyle. This blog will follow my outdoor pursuits in general and this year will focus a lot on my experimentation with sailing.
T-minus 27 days to sailing season
zoomSailtime orientation day is schedule for May 4th. The sailboats will be in the water and we'll be practicing man overboards and docking.
This winter has been long and I just can't wait to get back on the water. I've made lots of advanced reservations and the four day boy's trip is scheduled from June 12-15.
We're planning on sailing from Toronto harbour to the Bay of Quinte / Belleville over those four days. It's going to be by far our longest sail and we're looking forward to the challenge.
