Hubba hubba...a shapely tent in a sleek package
I only have so much room in explore magazine and a lot of products I would like to review. For instance for explore's annual buyers guide, part of the May issue out now, I tested eight pairs of trail running shoes, but there was only room to include five. I had to pick the best five, leaving three pairs lonely and unloved in the corner. Ditto for tents and packs.
So over the next few weeks I'll post a few reviews here for you check out. Let me know if you want more info on any of them. Are there any specific products you'd like me to check out? Let me know and I'll do my best.
For my first Blog review behold MSR's Hubba Hubba HP ($499.95; Tent, 29 sq.ft., vestibule 17.5 sq. ft.): The HP is an update on the popular Hubba Hubba two person tent. The HP refers to a new vestibule fabric that is lighter than the original. We like the tent's spaciousness and easy set up of the single pole, multiple hub design. But what really stood out for us was the has small it packs up to. It's almost as small as the Mountain Hardwear Helion 2 (reviewed in the buyers guide) when packed away and just a little heavier when stripped down. This would make a great tent for small pack, fast and light adventures. Hubba hubba indeed. See a picture here

Schweet.
If you're taking requests: any suggestions on a waterproof helmet camera?
