Going to Chile

Refresher on the Chile trip:

I thought it was 99% solid, but now I'm feeling iffy about the whole thing. Fingers still crossed.

It's going to include an Argentina leg. So far it looks totally urban, and nothing outdoorsy. Unless I can find something way in the north. I'll be spending a couple of days in San Pedro de Atacama, which is in the desert. It's supposed to be a neo-hippy spa town. I'll have to look into options.

On that topic, though, anyone heard of anything cool to do in San Pedro de Atacama, in Chile?
