We reached Lake McGregor in southern Alberta around 11 am - it was such a nice fall day, warm and full of autumn smells. After lunching our boat we started along west shore but got nothing, not even a bite. We trolled along west shore without even a single bite. We had nice lunch surrounded by all kinds of ducks and beautiful nature but.....still no fish. Finally we went to east shore after spotting two boats over there and that is when real fishing started. We had so much fun that we didn't pay attention to the time and as a result of such we ran out of it. By the time we got back there was not a soul left, wind picked up and waves rose - it was not a pretty pictures anymore. We could not find our launching ramp. Anyway, lesson learnt - do not leave without flash light and start heading back leaving yourself enough time to land during daytime. For full description of this trip follow this link
