The Toronto Island Ferry is operated by the city of Toronto, and traverses the short stretch from Toronto's mainland to the Toronto Islands.

The crossing takes approximately 20 minutes.

Fares:
Adults: $6
Students and Seniors: $3.50
Juniors (under 14): $2.50
Children under 2: free

Three separate ferry routes operate:
to/from Hanlon's Point (western end of the islands)
to/from Centre Island
to/from Ward's Island (eastern end of the islands)

Directions to the Toronto Island Ferry Terminal

Find the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel on Queens Quay, between Yonge and Bay street. Go around the hotel on the west side (if you're facing the hotel, that's to your right). Follow the sidewalks through the park, around the hotel toward the lake, and you'll arrive at the ferry terminal.

Direction by TTC (according to the ferry web site)
* From union station take the 509 Harbourfront or the 510 Spadina streetcar south to the Bay and Queen's Quay Stop.
* Alternately, take the Bay Bus #6 southbound from the corner of Front and Bay to the Bay and Queen's Quay stop.
Walk / Drive

Parking is available 1 block north at Lakeshore and Bay, 1 block west on Queens Quay between Bay and York Sts, 1 block east opposite Toronto Star building adjacent to Captain Johns restaurant.
